Tax Supervisor

A growing global organization is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join its corporate finance team. This position will play a critical role in supporting income tax accounting, tax compliance, and international tax initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in ASC 740, corporate tax compliance, and cross-functional business partnership while contributing to process improvements and tax planning strategies. Primary Responsibilities Income Tax Accounting & Reporting Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740. Analyze tax account balances, deferred tax assets and liabilities, uncertain tax positions, and valuation allowances. Collaborate with domestic and international finance teams to gather information required for tax reporting. Support external and internal audits related to income taxes. Maintain documentation supporting tax positions and financial statement disclosures. Assist with the design and monitoring of internal controls related to tax reporting processes. Tax Compliance & International Tax Support Support the preparation and review of U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance filings. Coordinate with external advisors and service providers on various tax compliance matters. Assist with international tax calculations and reporting requirements. Contribute to transfer pricing documentation and related analyses. Monitor developments in tax legislation and evaluate potential impacts on the organization. Participate in domestic and international tax audits and inquiries. Tax Planning & Process Improvement Support tax planning initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency and optimize tax outcomes. Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes through automation and technology enhancements. Assist with legal entity, restructuring, and cash management projects from a tax perspective. Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures. Business Partnership Work closely with accounting, FP&A, treasury, legal, and operational teams to address tax-related matters. Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and strategic initiatives. Communicate tax-related findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner. Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate taxation, public accounting, or a combination of both. Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and corporate income tax principles. Familiarity with international tax concepts and multinational operations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Preferred CPA designation or progress toward certification. Master’s degree in Taxation or related field. Experience with large public accounting firms. Knowledge of tax provision and compliance software platforms. Experience supporting multinational organizations.
