Advanced Sales Field Director

Role Overview We’re actively seeking a talented Advanced Sales Field Director to join our Advanced Designs team in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be hybrid or fully remote (depending on location). The Advanced Sales Director provides technical and marketing support to financial advisors, professional advisors, field management, and other support personnel in furtherance of advanced life insurance sales in the estate planning, retirement planning, business succession, and executive benefits markets. Responsibilities Provide exceptional advanced case design support to Pacific Life recruiters, financial advisors, and professional advisors in the areas of estate, retirement, business, and charitable planning. Conduct phone or virtual consultations with recruiters, financial advisors, and professional advisors. Develop marketing, sales, and educational materials on advanced concepts in estate, retirement, business, and charitable planning. Present at internal and industry meetings, as well as deliver informal presentations during office visits or to study groups. Develop strong relationships with recruiters and financial advisors. Understand Pacific Life’s financial underwriting guidelines and the rationale behind them. Stay abreast of regulatory/legislative changes impacting the industry to ensure that the organization, distributors, and sales personnel are well‑informed. Execute additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or JD Degree. 7+ years supporting advanced life insurance sales in estate planning, retirement planning, business succession, and executive benefits markets. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and delivering engaging presentations. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. Ability to communicate effectively with recruiters, financial advisors, and professional advisors such as attorneys and CPAs. Ability to travel extensively. Base Salary & Incentives The base salary for this position is $180,000 – $190,000, with eligibility for incentives based on sales performance. The actual compensation offered will depend on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
