A confidential healthcare organization is seeking a full-time General Neurologist for an established outpatient practice in Northwest Indiana, near Oak Lawn and the greater Chicagoland area.

This is a flexible, weekday clinic role with a typical outpatient volume of 20–25 patients per day. The incoming physician will join two established neurologists and benefit from mentorship, leadership support, and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of general neurological disorders in an outpatient setting.
• Evaluate patients with neuropathy, dementia, dizziness, seizures, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, migraines, neuromuscular disorders, and spinal-cord disorders.
• Perform and interpret neurological diagnostic studies, including EMG and EEG, as applicable.
• Provide Botox injections when clinically appropriate.
• Maintain an outpatient panel averaging 20–25 patients per day.
• Collaborate with physician colleagues and clinical staff to coordinate high-quality patient care.
• Build strong relationships with patients, referring providers, and the local medical community.

Schedule

• Full-time; 40 scheduled hours weekly
• Day shift
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Flexible full-time schedule

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (MD or DO)
• Current physician license, required upon hire
• Board certification in the specialty discipline, or board eligibility where appropriate, required upon hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification, required upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing general neurological disorders
• Experience with nerve conduction studies
• EEG interpretation experience
• Botox-injection experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, patient-centered practice style
