Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient Sports Medicine position on Nantucket Island, requiring an active MA PT license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Outpatient Sports Medicine setting at a community hospital serving a year-round island population of 15,000+, with up to 100,000 additional seasonal visitors
- Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, with shifts starting between 8:00–8:30 AM
- Charting is performed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Active Massachusetts PT license required; conditional licenses not accepted
- BLS certification required — AHA preferred; Red Cross also accepted
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Position is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts
- Shared housing is provided at no cost to the traveler
- Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
- Any requested time off must be disclosed prior to placement
- Time kept via UKG/Kronos
