Paid Internship Program - General Interest PostLooking for an opportunity to gain meaningful professional experience while making a difference in your community?The City of College Park is seeking motivated college students and recent graduates for paid internship opportunities across a variety of municipal departments. Our internships provide hands-on experience, professional development, and an inside look at how local government works.Interns may have opportunities to work in areas such as:Community Development & PlanningFinance Information TechnologySenior Services, Education & Emergency SupportAdministration, Communications & Public InformationEconomic Development & Community EngagementPublic Works, Engineering & SustainabilityPublic Services, Code Enforcement, Animal ControlWhat You'll GainAs a City intern, you will:Gain hands-on experience related to your field of study or career interests.Work alongside experienced municipal professionals.Contribute to real projects and initiatives that benefit the community.Develop professional, communication, and leadership skills.Build valuable connections and gain insight into careers in public service.Who Should Apply?We welcome applications from college students, graduate students, and recent graduates who are eager to learn, contribute, and explore careers in local government. To be considered, all candidates must submit: Complete application at resume Cover letter describing their interest in a particular municipal department. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed as opportunities become available.
