RN Manager Labor and Delivery Davie, FL Full-Time, Days (No Weekends), $42.36 to $62.00/hr

Lead a high-performing Labor and Delivery team as an RN Manager in a dynamic hospital environment. Oversee up to 1,500 births annually, including postpartum care and the newborn nursery, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This leadership role offers the chance to develop staff, optimize patient care, and influence departmental operations.

Direct, plan, organize, and evaluate Labor and Delivery and Postpartum Nursery (PNU) operations

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (TJC, CMS, AHCA)

Integrate unit activities with overall hospital operations and administration

Manage departmental budget, staffing, and performance metrics

Oversee staff development, performance evaluations, and mentorship programs

Coordinate patient care services to ensure high-quality outcomes

Facilitate collaboration between medical staff, administration, and interdisciplinary teams

Maintain safety and quality standards, including patient satisfaction initiatives

Required:

Current Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications (or obtained within required timeframes)

Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery management experience

Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification

STABLE certification

Preferred:

Experience managing units with 20+ FTEs or high-volume birth centers

Proven leadership in staff development, budgeting, and patient throughput

Hourly pay: $42.36-$62.00 based on experience

$10k$20k sign-on bonuses may be considered (case-by-case)
