Rockport Middle High School is seeking a dependable, observant, and community-minded individual to join our team as a lunch monitor. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, positive, and orderly environment for our students during their daily lunch periods. Responsibilities Student Supervision: Actively monitor middle and high school students in the cafeteria and designated common areas during their lunch blocks to ensure their health, safety, and general welfare. Encourage appropriate student conduct by enforcing school rules, regulations, and behavioral guidelines in a positive, respectful manner. Student Safety: Maintain situational awareness to prevent conflicts, address unsafe behaviors immediately, and report any significant disciplinary or safety incidents to school administration. Job Requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience working with adolescents, middle/high school students, or in a public school setting is highly preferred but not required. High School/Trade School degree preferred.
