Production Worker Temp (Pre-Assembly)

Temporary PositionDuties include supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment; operate machinery, record inspected products, load and unload materials, count and determine completion of orders.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.Mark or tag identification on parts.Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, and cleaning of doors and frame components.Clean and lubricate equipment.Record information such as the number of products inspected, and dates and times of product production.Other assigned tasks at direction of Supervision.Education and Experience ProfileHigh school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.These occupations often involve using your knowledge and skills to help others.Required SkillsMechanical ability.Reading various dimensional mythology instruments.Production & Processing: knowledge of materials, production processes, and quality control.Tools and Technology:ForkliftsHammers - Claw hammersHoists - Power hoistsJacks - Hand jacks; Pipe jacksLadders - Platform laddersScrewdrivers - Phillips head screwdrivers; Straight screwdriversSlings - Material-hoisting slingsTape measures - Measuring tapesVariety of hand tools, measuring instruments, power tools such as sawsMechanical machinesPaint systemsAssembly operationsWork Environment:Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this job/classification.
