POSITION SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION: On a substitute basis assists the Bar Department Manager with the operations of the Bar Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Has the ability to perform all functions of supervised positions.
2. Supervises the wait staff and bartenders on assigned shift.
3. Assigns duties and responsibilities to staff.
4. Understands and enforces all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the bar department including current laws and regulations of alcohol and tobacco.
5. Keeps personnel informed of marketing promotions and events, changes to policies and procedures and other necessary information.
6. Informs supervisor of shift activity by maintaining operational and employee records.
7. Makes recommendations regarding personnel issues to the department supervisor.
8. Maintains assigned cash register and bank for shift.
9. Maintains inventory control
10. Conducts spot checks to ensure all work areas are clean and restocked as necessary.
11. Assists staff with job duties and responsibilities as necessary.
12. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
13. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
14. Maintains confidentiality at all times.
15. Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
16. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
17. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
18. Performs other duties as assigned.
