This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young patients by helping create positive, stress-free dental experiences from an early age. Responsibilities Assist the pediatric dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, and dental procedures Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients Must have active NJ dental x-ray license or currently enrolled in a course. Build rapport with young patients to help ease dental anxiety and ensure comfort Communicate clearly with parents and guardians regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions Maintain accurate patient records and update charts using dental practice management software Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols Requirements Prior dental assisting experience, preferably in a pediatric setting Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred Radiography (X-ray) certification or willingness to obtain CPR/BLS certification preferred Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a natural ability to connect with children Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Only apply if dependable, reliable and punctual. Full Time-Monday through Friday-8:20-5:45pm 8:20-3:00 on Fridays during the months of July and August $500.00 Signing bonus after 6 months of employment.
