OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Poultney, VT by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Based out of Poultney, VT, HMD Trucking is recruiting solo CDL-A drivers to run dry-van freight across the country. You’ll handle long-haul dispatches, ensure cargo is secured, and follow company safety standards for reliable deliveries.

Daily duties:

• Operate company dry-van tractors on nationwide routes and secure loads for transport.
• Perform routine pre/post-trip checks and coordinate repairs with our maintenance team.
• Communicate with dispatch, manage paperwork, and maintain timely deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Strong safety focus and dependable work ethic.
