Job Details Specialty: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories, evaluate equipment for proper and safe function, and report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds at times. Meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. Valid NBRC‑RRT, BLS, and ACLS credentials. PALS and NRP certifications may be required for some areas.
