Personal Lines Client Manager

Job Title

World Insurance Associates is seeking a professional with expertise in personal property and casualty insurance to join their team.

Position Summary

The role involves independently leading client service, making informed recommendations to clients, and managing various insurance-related activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluates exposures and renewal quotes
• Reviews upcoming renewals and determines which accounts warrant remarket
• Makes coverage recommendations
• Utilizes comparative rater tool to obtain quotes
• Transacts agency billing (where applicable)
• Obtains signed bindings and notifies carriers
• Reviews binding documents for accuracy
• Conducts contract reviews

Other Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain accurate account details, contacts, and policy information in EPIC
• Process renewals, endorsements, acknowledgments, cancellations, and proofs of insurance
• Attach, organize, and name documents in EPIC
• Initiate endorsements, proofs of insurance, and invoices
• Leverage templates and system-generated letters and forms to produce standard communications to clients and carriers
• Create activities in EPIC and assign to applicable team members
• May be responsible for pulling items such as MVR, CLUES, Risk Meters, RCE, etc.

Work Experience

• 3+ years' experience in personal property and casualty with a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverages

Professional Licenses/Certifications

• Must hold a state property and casualty insurance license

• Proficient in Excel (specifically Excel formulas, charts, and tables); Word, and other MS Office products
• Able to understand new technology platforms quickly
• Proficient in agency management systems and carrier sites
• Hands-on personal approach to customer service. Maintains effective relationships with clients, co-workers, and colleagues
• Able to work in a team environment. Easily gains the trust and support of peers
• Has a deep and thorough understanding of client requirements, competitive market, industry trends, and recognized internally and externally as a subject matter expert
• Work output is consistent and accurate. Highly detailed and organized. Able to apply these skills in a fast-paced environment
• Able to develop short- and long-term strategies that have high impact on clients/prospects and the business. Anticipates obstacles and identifies ways to overcome them
• Provides resolution to a diverse range of problems. Uses critical thinking to identify key barriers to resolve complex situations. Able to solve complex problems by taking a new perspective using standard product/service

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Demands

Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Typing, grasping, and repetitive motion typically is required every day, and walking and standing are required occasionally.

Compensation

This is a New Jersey-based position with a competitive benefits package. The base salary ranges from $66,200 to $81,800, with bonus eligibility. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
