Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Java / Database / TableauLocation: Tampa, FL & Irving, TX Duration: Full-time Salary: $95K Plus benefitsJob Summary:We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in Java-based automation, database testing, and Tableau validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and overall quality across applications involving complex data processing, analytics, and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.Perform database testing (SQL, PL/SQL) to validate data integrity and backend transactions.Validate Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations to ensure data accuracy and performance.Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.Analyze and troubleshoot production defects by working closely with cross-functional teams.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.Required Skills & Experience:Automation Testing: Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber.Database Testing: Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and complex queries.Tableau Validation: Experience in validating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for correctness and performance.Agile/Scrum Methodology: Experience working in Agile projects.CI/CD: Exposure to tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps for test automation integration.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.
