About the Role We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Hospital Operations to oversee and scale operations across 20+ hospital partnerships nationwide. This role will lead end-to-end hospital operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality provider performance across all sites. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience in hospital operations (behavioral health preferred), with a proven ability to manage multi-site environments, optimize workflows, and drive operational excellence. This individual will serve as a key liaison between hospital leadership and Psychplus, while building scalable systems to support rapid growth. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple hospital contracts, ensuring seamless execution and high performance across all sites. Provider Operations & Scheduling: Lead provider scheduling strategy to ensure optimal coverage, productivity, and continuity of care. Onboarding & Integration: Own and streamline provider onboarding processes to ensure efficient integration into hospital systems and workflows. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between hospital executives and Psychplus leadership to align on goals, performance, and issue resolution. Workflow Optimization: Identify gaps and implement scalable solutions to improve hospital workflows, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes. Policy & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, hospital protocols, and internal standards across all locations. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage operations teams, fostering a high-performance, accountable culture. Performance Management: Track KPIs, analyze operational data, and drive continuous improvement across all hospital partnerships. Problem Solving: Proactively address operational challenges, mitigate risks, and implement long-term solutions. Requirements Experience: 5+ years in hospital operations, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role (multi-site experience preferred; behavioral health a plus). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred). Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale operations. Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of hospital workflows, provider management, and healthcare compliance. Communication: Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills. Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data to drive decisions, optimize performance, and scale operations. Technology: Proficiency with EHR systems, hospital management tools, and advanced Excel (reporting, dashboards, pivot tables). Execution Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information The expected base pay for this role will be up to $110,000 annually at the commencement of employment, paid in USD. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short- and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
