Benefits & Scheduling:$18.00 per hour pay periods are weekly10-hour shifts are typical4-5 day workweek is typicalSchedule for FT Team Members is a rotation where team members should not work more than 3 consecutive days, allowing for more personal time; every other weekend should be offExpect daytime shift with future potential to work 2nd shift if desiredA minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30 minute meal breakOpportunity for performance incentives and bonusesMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance (Note: Employees who work on average less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance)Paid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employmentKey Duties & Responsibilities:Successfully handle and deliver packages on timeFollow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policiesProvide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditionsKeep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locationsCommunicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completedUse smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team membersLoad and unload packages in delivery vehicleSupport the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routesQualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldMust hold state-issued identificationMust be authorized to work in the United StatesSuccessfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background checkMust have good English speaking, reading, writing communication skills
