Project Controls Specialist

About the role: As a Project Controls Specialist, you will develop budgets for outages and projects, development and tracking of monthly forecasts and any corrective actions necessary from a budgetary perspective. You will report to the Director of Operations and be located at the Susquehanna plant in Salem Township, PA. This position is onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze schedule performance and identify impacts, delays, and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and update resource planning & hiring plans for outages.
- Support outage planning and execution schedules.
- Develop project budgets, control estimates, and cost forecasts.
- Track project expenditures against approved budgets and work breakdown structures (WBS).
- Identify cost trends, variances, and corrective actions.
- Manage project change control processes.
- Evaluate schedule and cost impacts associated with scope changes.
- Prepare supporting documentation for change requests and claims.
- Maintain project change logs and contingency tracking.
- Prepare monthly project forecasts
- Present project status and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in project controls
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to pass all background and screening requirements including drug and alcohol screening.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,000 to $176,000 per year.
