Leave of Absence Administrator (Human Resources)

Description Position Overview Welcome to Martignetti Companies, the leading distributor of wine, beer, and spirits in New England. The Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator manages and coordinates employee leave programs across a multi-state organization of approximately 2,000 employees operating in 17 states. This role administers federal, state, and company leave programs, including FMLA, ADA‑related leave accommodations, paid family and medical leave (PFML), state‑mandated leave programs, workers' compensation coordination, military leave, and short‑term disability (STD) programs. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with three days per week in our Taunton office and two remote workdays. Key Responsibilities Administer FMLA, ADA, PFML, state leave, military, jury duty, workers' compensation, parental, and STD programs. Manage leave cases from intake through return‑to‑work. Determine eligibility and issue required notices and documentation. Track leave durations, intermittent leave, extensions, and return‑to‑work dates. Coordinate overlapping leave programs and disability claims. Facilitate ADA interactive process and accommodations. Monitor compliance with federal and state leave laws across 17 states. Educate employees and managers regarding leave rights and responsibilities. Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and third‑party administrators. Maintain records, reporting, audits, and compliance documentation. Requirements Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Leave administration, compliance, case management, customer service, confidentiality, organization, problem‑solving, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration. Experience supporting organizations with 1,000+ employees. Knowledge of multiple state PFML programs. Strong knowledge of federal and state leave regulations. Education/Experience/Training Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3–5+ years administering FMLA, ADA, and multi‑state leave programs. Experience managing STD claims and disability vendors.Beverage/Food Wholesale/Distribution Industry experience is a plus HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, CEBS, etc.).
