Qualifications

Must have unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
At least five years of dealer-level experience, Ford Transmission Certification training completed, and strong technical performance record.
Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

The Transmission Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Advisor or the Service Manager
In addition, the Transmission Technician must have special knowledge regarding the diagnosis, repair, and replacement of vehicle transmission
Expertly diagnoses issues based per Ford Motor Company analysis, and testing.
Must be able to follow Ford workshop manual
Adapts to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry and in the diagnostics arena
