This role involves managing patients with severe respiratory failure, sepsis, neurologic conditions, cardiac issues, gastrointestinal and hepatic failure, and other complex metabolic and endocrine disorders. The position emphasizes continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, invasive lines, mechanical ventilation, advanced oxygen therapies, titrated intravenous medications, and complex laboratory and medication management. Job Details Position Description: ICU Nurse for a 20-bed mixed ICU/Step Down unit with a combination of ICU and Stepdown patient care. The role requires floating to a sister unit, handling a variety of critically ill patients with complex needs and conditions, including severe respiratory failure, sepsis, neurologic conditions, and cardiac issues. Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license, Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent, at least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting, and current certifications including CPR and ACLS. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The position involves a weekend and holiday rotation commitment, and providers must demonstrate flexibility to float between units as needed.
