SENIOR AUDITOR Multiple primary office locations to choose from (including hybrid option): Amery, WI Plymouth, MN New Ulm, MN Mankato, MN Due to firm growth, we are looking for a Senior Auditor who can collaborate with the team, deliver high-quality workpapers, and build strong client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who’s detail-driven, proactive, and ready to mentor staff while staying hands-on in the audit process. What type of work would you do: Plan and help facilitate engagements to meet budget and client expectations Evaluate clients’ internal controls and determine the extent of testing required in an audit Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements Provide exceptional service to clients by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs Audit complex areas and transactions and prepare client deliverable reports Exhibit solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, quality management standards and technology implementation procedures relative to individual client assignments Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters and improvement opportunities to managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit process Demonstrate technical skills, general industry knowledge and knowledge of the firm’s capabilities Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with client’s staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships Perform compilation, review, and audit engagements Review and prepare client work papers, reports, financial statement drafts and letters of recommendations Benefits Offered: We offer competitive compensation and profit sharing, excellent opportunities for professional development and flexible schedule options to allow for work/life balance.
