QA Technician

QA Technician, 1st ShiftEssential duties & responsibilities include the following: Conducts product sampling as well as chemical, microbiological & physical testing. Essential functions include basic comprehension of speaking, reading & writing in English, can write neatly and clearly on all paper-work, show basic understanding of how to use and operate a computer, show comprehension and knowledge retention of all Brakebush - Hartwell training programs (specifically quality and food safety), can be responsible for having, maintaining and cleaning assigned tools, can complete all required paperwork and database entries accurately and in a timely manner, can communicate to direct report when there are deviations from the process or specification, show basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, percentages, multiplication and/or division), have a basic understanding of quality control (acceptable vs. unacceptable), can place product on Hold and complete the Hold Tag process in an accurate and timely manner. Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
