Position: Human Resources (HR) Assistant Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Nineveh, IN About the Position We are seeking an organized, dependable, and people-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department in providing administrative and staffing support for our home health care team. The ideal candidate will help ensure a smooth hiring and onboarding process while maintaining accurate employee records and supporting compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, and required employment paperwork. Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records. Track background checks, reference checks, credentials, certifications, and required training. Assist with scheduling interviews and communicating with applicants. Support employee attendance tracking, timekeeping, and payroll documentation as needed. Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment and healthcare regulations. Respond to employee questions and provide general administrative support to management. Assist with maintaining employee training records and monitoring document expiration dates. Qualifications Previous administrative or human resources experience preferred. Experience in home health care, healthcare staffing, or a caregiving agency is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer applications. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
