Details Emergency Department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 13-week assignment length Every other weekend required Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required Epic charting system experience required Skilled in respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients Skilled in IV therapy/phlebotomy and central line care/management Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, triage, and medication administration Skilled in IV vasopressor administration and cardiac monitoring Experience managing dysrhythmias and responding to cardiac emergencies Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Additional Information Provide emergency care including triage, medication administration, and emergency response for a variety of patient acuities Scrubs not provided; navy blue scrubs required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates residing within 90 miles are considered local RTO requests limited to no more than 5 non-consecutive days, with only one holiday RTO request permitted during the Nov-Jan holiday season American Traveler Job ID P-750144.
