Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients with diagnoses such as stroke, dialysis, head bleeds, ventriculo-peritoneal shunts, and neuro disorders requiring intensive monitoring and support. The position emphasizes critical care skills, with a focus on managing titratable drips and utilizing advanced equipment in a 24/7 ICU setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including three weekend shifts and participation in holiday rotations as scheduled.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; all candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of critical care ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with titratable drips such as Levophed, phenylephrine, versed, paralytics, heparin, insulin, nicardipine, vasopressors; ICU experience and familiarity with high acuity neuro patient care.
• Additional Information: The unit maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1, with intensivist coverage during daytime hours and on-call support during nights. Experienced RTs are on site 24/7, operating vents, BIPAP, high flow oxygen, and nasal cannula equipment. Telemetry monitoring is observed from another floor. Candidate must be willing to wait for license processing; the position does not require BSN degree. Compliance with vaccination policies is mandatory, with exemption procedures available.
• Submission Requirements: Only one candidate per submission is permitted across the entire system, with eligibility to wait for licensing.
