The Outside Sales Representative will focus on driving sales in the construction equipment & supply industry by developing strong customer relationships and managing a local territory. This role requires delivering persuasive sales presentations, demonstrating products effectively, and negotiating contracts within a short sales cycle. The representative will work closely with a small sales team to expand market presence and meet regional sales targets with minimal local travel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sales presentations tailored to the construction industry
- Manage and nurture customer relationships for ongoing business
- Demonstrate products to highlight key features and benefits
- Negotiate contracts to close deals efficiently within short sales cycles
- Oversee territory management to maximize coverage and customer acquisition
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales
- Associate's degree in Business or a related field
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM software
- Effective communication and presentation abilities
- Time management and prospecting expertise
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
