Core Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk I, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and tracking inventory items throughout the warehouse facility. You will conduct regular physical counts of stock to verify inventory accuracy against system records, documenting any discrepancies and reporting them to supervisors promptly. You will enter inventory data into the warehouse management system, ensuring all information is current and accessible to relevant departments. You will prepare inventory reports that provide insights into stock levels, movement patterns, and availability of materials. These reports support decision-making across the organization and help optimize inventory allocation. Additionally, you will monitor stock levels to identify items requiring reorder and communicate these needs to the appropriate personnel. You will organize warehouse spaces to maximize efficiency and accessibility while maintaining safety standards. You will verify shipments upon arrival, checking quantities and quality of items before they enter the inventory system. You will also assist in locating items for orders and shipments, working collaboratively with team members to ensure timely fulfillment. Documentation is a key component of this role. You will maintain detailed records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, adjustments, and transfers. These records must be accurate and available for audits and management review. You will support cycle counting activities and participate in periodic inventory audits as directed.
