Job Location Wellness Clinic Youth Center (Devens, MA) Job Position Physician (Contract/1099/Independent Contractor) Job Background The student wellness center is located on the campus of a no‑cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The hours at the clinic are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Immediate start. Job Description School physical exams, minor sports injuries, hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, and sick visits. Collaboration with mid‑levels, the center’s medical staff, wellness staff, and substance abuse specialists as necessary. Role Description This is an ongoing contract role for a Locum Physician with The Locums Company, LLC at the Wellness Clinic in Devens, MA. The Locums Physician will work on‑site to provide physical exams and minor acute medical care to student patients ages 16–24 years. Compensation is competitive and professional liability insurance is provided. Job Requirements Active and unrestricted state medical license. Experience providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work 6 hours per week. Prior experience as a locums physician is a plus. Valid Federal DEA license.
