About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at The Learning Experience in Renton, WA, as an Experienced Preschool Teacher! We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment where young minds can thrive and develop a love for learning. Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are welcome, but strong English communication skills are required for this position.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
• Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Engage children in hands-on activities that promote creativity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive educational program.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Valid state teaching license or certification in early childhood education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Background check clearance required.

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
