You will assist the closing process by analyzing ledger records, preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and providing a variety of standard reports. In the Sr. Accountant role, you will also be responsible for providing insight and solutions for more efficient daily transaction processing and consistency by collaborating within the Accounting and Finance department, as well as cross-functionally across the organization.What You're Good At:Assist in the month-end close process and support the proper and timely recording of transactions in the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and company policiesPrepare and submit monthly balance sheet reconciliations along with necessary supportReview monthly ledger transactions and validate dimensional accuracy and consistencyAssist with the preparation of the internal income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flow by providing a variety of standard reportsParticipate in the financial audit process, including gathering supporting documentation and preparing necessary schedulesDedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reportingWork closely with finance and other accounting team members to ensure ledger data usabilityAssist with more complex accounting projects and process improvement initiatives as neededEnsure policies and processes are well documented, applied consistently, and broadly understoodPerform technical accounting research as requiredPublish and maintain the Corporate Accounting close calendarWhat You Contribute:Bachelor's Degree in AccountingCPA or CPA Candidate Required5+ years accounting experience2+ years' experience with public accounting firm, preferredStrong Excel skills (SUMIF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MATCH, PivotTables, data organization, etc.)Experience with an ERP or financial reporting and control system (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics D365, OneStream)Knowledge of GAAP standardsAbility to build strong internal/external relationshipsIs an excellent communicator, adaptable and a quick learnerStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProactive and able to anticipate the results of actions and inactions.Experience operating in a SOX control and/or PCAOB environment a plusAbility to work independently, multi-task and prioritize tasks at handEntrepreneurial drive and spirit to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentIn This Role Your Goals And Kpis Will Be Focused Around:Accurate and timely execution of the financial close processStrong balance sheet reconciliation management and issue resolutionEffective internal controls and compliance with accounting policiesIdentification of financial risks, trends, and process improvement opportunitiesDelivery of actionable financial insights to support business decision-makingContinuous improvement through automation, standardization, and efficiency initiativesSuccessful support of internal and external audit requirementsWhy Nutrabolt?Wellness BenefitsNutrabolt cares about our teammates' physical, mental, and financial wellness by providing benefits like: competitive health insurance, life insurance, mental wellness programs, 401K matching, and a Lifestyle Spending Account.Lifestyle PerksWe offer unlimited vacation paid time off and volunteer time off.
