Arizona Licensed Radiology Coder

To support a talented Profee team, the full-time Arizona Licensed Radiology Coder will evaluate medical records, assign appropriate clinical diagnosis and procedure codes, and ensure compliance with coding guidelines while working remotely with flexible hours. Key responsibilities Analyzes medical records to accurately code diagnostic and procedural information in accordance with national coding guidelines Abstracts clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic medical records, ensuring completeness and accuracy Provides quality assurance for medical records, ensuring compliance with coding rules and regulations from relevant agencies Required qualifications High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in medical record keeping principles Active certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent coding certification At least one year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) coding Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles as demonstrated by certification Ability to work effectively in a remote setting using common office and coding software
