MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee Owner , Staff Accountant to join our Accounting department located in Burnsville, MN to support day to day accounting operations with a focus on financial reporting and assist Account Payables. Key Areas Of Responsibilities Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Perform weekly bank reconciliations Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review File monthly and quarterly sales tax returns Compile and organize fixed asset tax reports Assist with processing invoices as needed Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Proficient with the full suite of Microsoft Office products, expert in Excel 0-1 yrs experience in preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts 0-1 yrs in accounts payable process Have, in process of, or willingness to acquiring a CPA license within the first two (2 years) Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S without requiring sponsorship now or in the future What We Offer Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability Program Life Insurance Educational Development Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) + Gainshare — because your success is also your investment 401(k) + Match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Volunteer Days — give back alongside your peers in the community Hybrid work schedule after training!
