Planner - Project Manager

Palm Beach Gardens, FL - United States Urban Planner / Project Manager JMorton Planning & Landscape Architecture is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Urban Planner / Project Manager to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. We provide land planning, zoning, entitlement, landscape architecture, and design solutions for both public and private sector clients. Responsibilities Participate in all aspects of the entitlement and development review process. Research land development regulations. Prepare land use and development applications. Write and edit technical reports. Coordinate project schedules. Manage municipal review comments. Assist with public hearing materials. Guide projects through the approval process. Prepare and review items such as justification statements, comprehensive plan amendments, text amendments, due diligence reports, zoning analysis reports, and client presentation materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a related field. Approximately 3–6 years of planning experience working under a Project Manager, Director, or similar leadership role. Experience reading and interpreting land development regulations and zoning codes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Bluebeam is a plus. Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Strong communicator, critical thinker, and proactive issue resolver. Compensation and Benefits Compensation is commensurate with experience.
