About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of inpatient OR experience, level 1 trauma preferred License: Not specified Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - 2+ years of inpatient OR experience - Competent in at least 5 of the surgical services listed below - Excellent communication skills Description: FLEX - 12-hour shifts with a rotation between day and night shifts. Day shifts start at 7:00 AM, and night shifts start at 7:00 PM. Rotate every 3rd weekend as needed. Required to take every other holiday. One call shift per scheduling period. May float to other operating rooms as needed. Surgical services include general, gynecological, genitourinary, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine. There are 17 operating rooms staffed 24/7. Candidates should have a positive attitude and flexibility. Scrub experience is preferred.
