Asset Protection Investigator

Job Overview As an Asset Protection Investigator, you will work as a member of the Asset Protection team to prevent losses from external and internal theft and fraud, on‑site in our Distribution Center, and report to the Asset Protection Manager. Responsibilities Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store Assess and help with emergency situations Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators for internal or external theft, and fraud Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all incidents properly Prepare and complete reports for theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits and training Support and participate in store operations programs Qualifications 1+ years of experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection Customer-focused mindset Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic proficiency with computer software Investigative and conflict management skills Ability to respond quickly to changing directions or unexpected situations Flexibility to work a schedule based on store needs Benefits Comprehensive benefits package for eligible full‑time employees, including medical, vision and dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Basic life insurance, supplemental life insurance, disability insurance, and additional voluntary benefits such as critical illness, hospital and accident insurance Employee discount Salary Hourly rate: $21.53 - $26.91 per hour, based on market, experience and other qualifications.
