Personal Lines Insurance Professional

The Richards Group, an IMA Company is looking for an experienced Personal Lines insurance professional to join our team in Vermont or New Hampshire. This role can be shaped at the Account Manager or Team Lead level, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering thoughtful coverage guidance, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of personal lines clients, providing day-to-day service and proactive account support
• Serve as a trusted advisor on coverage, renewals, and policy changes
• Handle client and carrier inquiries, endorsements, policy issuance, and documentation
• Support claims advocacy and guide clients through the claims process
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information in the agency management system
• Partner with producers and internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience

For more experienced candidates / Team Lead level:

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day support to team members
• Assist with workflow management and process improvement
• Serve as a subject matter resource for complex accounts and escalations

What We're Looking For

• Required: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
• Required: Within commuting distance to one of our offices in NH or VT
• Demonstrated experience in personal lines account management or client service
• Strong knowledge of personal lines coverages (home, auto, umbrella, etc.)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

Compensation will be aligned to experience and level (Account Manager through Team Lead).

Salary Range $45,000—$75,000 USD
