Pipefitter

Job Responsibilities Unload, load, carry, cut, thread, solder, braze, groove, and install pipe, fittings, supports, sleeves, and/or equipment as used in HVAC systems including but not limited to copper, ACR, steel, plastic, or ductile iron. Test piping systems Review, understand, and follow plans, and scope on assigned project. Have all personal hand tools. Know and follow company policies and procedures, including safety. Work with and train apprentices. Provide opportunities for on-the-job training. Inspect installations daily to ensure quality, specification, and code compliance. Work with general contractors and other subs in a professional manner. Facilitate field changes. Able to operate power tools safely including overhead, side to side, and at floor levels daily. Organize tasks in such a way that material handling is kept to a minimum. Always represent Comfort Systems USA in a professional manner.
