Buyer

Our client is seeking a Buyer to support procurement operations in a growing manufacturing environment. This role will focus primarily on indirect materials purchasing, purchase order management, supplier follow-up, and SAP S/4HANA transaction support. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of purchasing experience, strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure materials are delivered on time. Responsibilities: Create, process, and manage purchase orders in SAP S/4HANA Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, shipments, and receipt of materials Support procurement activities for a variety of indirect materials and services Maintain accurate purchasing records and master data within SAP Assist with invoice, payment, and supplier documentation processes Utilize basic Incoterms knowledge (DDP, FOB, etc.) when managing supplier orders Partner with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to support material availability Support process improvements and day-to-day procurement operations Required Skills & Experience: 2–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience within a manufacturing environment 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience, specifically within purchasing/procurement modules Experience creating and managing purchase orders in SAP Understanding of supplier order management and procurement processes Familiarity with Incoterms and supplier payment structures Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field Exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments Commercial or business-focused mindset with interest in procurement and supply chain operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
