Travel Physical Therapist - $2,412 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Limon, Colorado. Responsibilities Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate and modify the plan of care as indicated based on patient condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Experience: Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply. For an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. The role often requires 1 year of experience as preferred. Licensing: BLS and state-specific licensing. Physical requirements: ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean or stoop. Knowledge: solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Note: Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. TotalMed Allied Job ID #1357511.
