Industrial Sports Medicine Professional Location: Duluth, MN | Type: Part‑time | Hours: 7 hrs per week, 2–3 on‑site days | Rate: $33‑$39/hr. Job Description The Industrial Sports Medicine Professional provides on‑site care to working athletes, specializing in job function and technical task analysis, functional body movements, discomforts, and OSHA First Aid standards. The role collaborates with Briotix Health stakeholders to develop injury prevention & early discomfort management (EDM) programs and ergonomic solutions. Responsibilities Provide on‑site services at a client site in Duluth, MN. Create and maintain positive relationships with client contacts. Initiate and establish professional engagement with client employees. Provide education & training on injury and illness prevention. Deliver on‑site care and manage work and non‑work related discomforts. Maintain knowledge of OSHA health and safety practices and follow OSHA First Aid standards. Implement the Early Discomfort Management (EDM) program. When required, provide Functional Employment Testing, Return‑to‑Work/Stay‑at‑Work Services, Ergonomic Assessments, or Clinical Solutions. Prepare detailed and timely reports for each service performed. Maintain accurate documentation using Briotix Health’s web‑based system. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards at each worksite. Follow all Briotix Health company policies and government regulations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field. Appropriate certifications/state license in good standing where service is provided. Current CPR/AED or equivalent certification (Professional Rescuer, BLS Healthcare Provider). Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care. Minimum 1 year of customer service experience. Ergonomic certification or training preferred. 1‑2 years prior experience in industrial or office ergonomics, industrial sports medicine, functional employment testing, or job task analysis preferred. Must meet physical demands of on‑site work (lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, walking, sitting, squatting). Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
