Physical Therapist - Part-Time

Role: Part-time Physical Therapist at an outpatient rehab center, responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity. Ensures care is cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant with regulations. Responsibilities: Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and input from patients and families. Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources. Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational activities per departmental guidelines. Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professionalism. Engage in effective communication, teamwork, and customer service, utilizing AIDET principles. Participate in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities. Ensure safe use of materials and equipment, observe infection control protocols. Qualifications: Education: Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy. Licenses: Valid PT license and BLS certification required upon hire. Skills: Strong communication, customer service focus, team-oriented, and basic computer skills.
