Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Compensation: $2,500 to 6,000 month

Location: Glen Allen, VA

Schedule: Flexible Shifts (Days, Evenings, Weekends available)

We are looking for passionate, talented Hair Stylists to join our team and deliver exceptional haircutting, coloring, and styling experiences for our growing clientele.

Whether you specialize in modern trends, precision cuts, or high-end color transformations, we provide a clean, supportive environment with steady foot traffic to help you build and maintain a loyal client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Consultations: Conduct thorough client consultations to understand hair goals, evaluate hair texture/condition, and recommend customized styles, colors, and treatments.
• Cutting & Styling: Perform basic and advanced women’s, men’s, and children’s haircutting, blowouts, updos, and heat styling using modern techniques.
• Color Services: Mix and apply permanent, semi-permanent, highlights, balayage, toner, and color correction services with high precision.
• Hair Treatments: Apply specialty deep-conditioning masks, glosses, scalp treatments, and hair-care oils to improve hair health.
• Product Recommendations: Educate clients on proper at-home hair care, styling techniques, and retail products to boost hair health and client retention.
• Station Maintenance: Keep your styling station, tools, and salon area clean, sanitized, and fully compliant with state board safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active State Cosmetology License or Barbering License required.
• Skill Set: Proficiency in basic and advanced haircutting, chemical services, and color application.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills with a friendly, client-focused attitude.
• Reliability: Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed.
• Portfolio: A portfolio or active Instagram/social media page showcasing your past work is a plus.
