Job Title: Prep Cook Location: Astoria Grill Job Description: Astoria Grill is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The Prep Cook will assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role is vital to maintaining the quality and consistency of our menu items. Key Responsibilities Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and chef specifications. Assist in the cooking process as directed by the Chef or Line Cook. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team player with good communication skills.
