Overview Registered Nurse – LTAC / Long Length of Stay Acute Med-Surg Location: Olympia, Washington, United States Travel assignment in a hospital setting with a short-term acute care focus Start date: 09/09/2026 Duration: weeks Shift: 3x12 Days Weekly pay: $2,033 – $2,174 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 This is a travel - temporary assignment requiring floating to like med-surg units within the skill set. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,033 – $2,174 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: weeks Shift: 3x12 Days Start date: 09/09/2026 Setting: hospital-based short-term acute care with long length-of-stay and medical-surgical patients Onboarding: pre-start modules and 12-hour orientation required Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric populations on LTAC/acute med-surg pathways Monitor and document vital signs; administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; perform wound and ostomy care as applicable Manage complex patient needs, including dementia, behavioral concerns, and safety risks; assist with transfers and mobility Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, respiratory, pharmacy, social work) to support stabilization and transition planning Respond to clinical changes, participate in rounds, and support rapid response when needed Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and adhere to unit protocols Requirements Minimum 1 year of nursing experience LTAC experience preferred but not required First-time travelers accepted BLS certification required Floating to like med-surg units within the skill set is required; not expected mid-shift Local travel restriction: travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel assignment Pre-start modules and annual compliance modules required; orientation approximately 12 hours COVID-19 vaccine not required Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Compliance and onboarding assistance (pre-start modules and orientation) Access to ongoing guidance from an account manager during the assignment Pay Disclaimer Rule Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
