Customer Experience Specialist

Job Summary: The Customer Experience Specialist will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and providing a high level of customer support for company services. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Interacts with customers via telephone, or in person to provide support and information services. Sets up and maintains customer accounts. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ issues and concerns. Fields customer questions and concerns; forwards to appropriate staff when issues are beyond the representative’s knowledge. Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries or comments. Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to services. Explains services, suggesting and selecting options suitable for the customers’ needs. Coordinates information between customers and operations staff. Assists with invoicing, billing, and taking customer payments. Acts as liaison to coordinate information and service between customer and Business Development Manager. Reviews and analyzes sales reports to help identify potential new markets. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills including active listening. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Smiles naturally and often. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization. Quick wit as well as a think outside the box approach to problem solving. Desire to learn and grow in a job that is constantly evolving. Education and Experience: High school diploma required, college classes preferred. One year customer service experience required. Work in similar industry preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
