Real Estate Closing Paralegal – Fairfield County, CT We are working with a well-established Connecticut law firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Closing Paralegal to join its Fairfield County office. This position will focus on commercial and high-end residential real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on managing the closing process and preparing closing statements. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of substantive real estate paralegal experience and a strong background handling both commercial and residential closings. This individual should be comfortable taking ownership of transactions, working directly with attorneys and clients, and coordinating all aspects of the closing process from contract through closing and post-closing. Qualifications: 5+ years of substantive real estate paralegal experience Meaningful experience with both commercial and residential real estate transactions Strong experience handling real estate closings from contract through closing and post-closing Significant experience preparing and reviewing closing statements and settlement figures Experience with commercial and high-end residential acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and refinancings Experience reviewing title reports, surveys, lien searches, and other due diligence materials Ability to prepare and coordinate closing documents and maintain closing checklists Experience coordinating closing figures, payoffs, adjustments, wire information, and other closing-related items Ability to coordinate effectively with lenders, title companies, brokers, clients, opposing counsel, and other transaction parties Ability to independently manage multiple transactions, closings, and deadlines Comfortable communicating directly with attorneys and clients Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a busy and sophisticated real estate practice Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation: Salary range: $80,000–$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
