Your immediate work will focus on solutions for our water and wastewater projects and Clients. You will work on a variety of exciting projects that apply your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. With Jacobs, you'll work on green infrastructure, stormwater collection/conveyance, water and wastewater projects to provide site/civil, process mechanical and hydraulic design solutions. You should be self-motivated with a long-term desire to grow personally as well as professionally within the Columbus area. Each project will provide career opportunities while delivering transformative projects for our clients.Here's what you'll need:Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) certification or the ability to obtain one 6 months after hireMore than 4 years of consulting experience for municipal water and wastewater treatment plant clientsConceptual knowledge of process mechanical designs, drinking and wastewater unit processes and technologiesWillingness to learn Jacobs' proprietary software toolsAbility to build relationships, resolve conflict and participate in diverse teamsIdeally, you'll also have:Experience with hydraulic analysesInvolvement in professional society organizations, community organization or other leadership roles with volunteer organizationsOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
