Contract Events Coordinator Location: Richmond, VA Company: Virginia Museum of History & Culture The Virginia Museum of History & Culture is seeking a dynamic and organized Contract Events Coordinator to manage and execute events. This role involves coordinating logistics, liaising with vendors, and ensuring smooth event operations. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders Oversee event logistics including setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting Manage event budgets and timelines Ensure compliance with museum policies and safety regulations Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees and partners Required Skills: Proven experience in event planning and coordination Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
