Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Assistant

Qualification Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university. Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists. Will consider a Speech Assistant. Job Responsibilities Identify students with speech and language impairments, in cooperation with district staff and evaluate students for eligibility for special education Provide direct interventions to students using a continuum of service delivery options Re-evaluate students Serve multiple districts and campuses Make referrals to other professionals Participate in parent/teacher conferences as appropriate Collect and report student performance data as needed by the Director for agency reports/SPP indicators Communicate and coordinate with outside agencies Complete daily logs of student services Contribute to the development of IEPs, and IFSPs Complete service provider logs to document services provided to students Consult with teachers Other duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr
