Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members. You will follow recipes, wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest products are available for members to take home. You may juggle several tasks, assist members with bakery orders, and work hard while contributing to a rewarding team environment. What You'll Do Maintain a positive attitude by greeting, thanking, and smiling at members. Provide exceptional customer service, answering member questions as needed. Keep the work area clean, neat, and ready for member access. Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs, operating baking equipment, following recipes, assembling instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing in compliance with food‑safety, sanitation, cold‑chain, and inventory guidelines. Leverage digital tools to improve sales, ordering, training, and product quality. Maintain work area and product quality to meet company policies and standards for operational excellence, date control, and waste reduction. Advocate for the department by modeling high‑quality service, fostering a culture of belonging, and mentoring others. Comply with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy, and promote Walmart values. Complete work assignments by using available data and resources, communicating progress, and suggesting improvements. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
